Everyone has someone who inspires them, be it a family member, a historical figure, or a renowned personality. Upschool invites you to paint a portrait of your inspirational figure, and share with the world why they mean so much to you. Your mission is to paint a portrait, take a digital copy, and craft a compelling report about their significance in your life and the broader world.

Steps to Participate:

Step 1 – Familiarize with the Template:

Download the provided template and understand its layout. (1 Painted Portrait and 1 Report – See example)

Step 2 – Choose Your Inspirational Figure:

Reflect upon who inspires you deeply. It could be your grandparent, a famous figure, or a significant person from history.

Step 3 – Paint Their Portrait:

Using your artistic skills, paint a portrait of your chosen figure.(any style or medium is fine with us, watercolour , oil etc)

Step 4 – Digitalize Your Art:

Take a high-quality digital copy of your painting and copy this into the Canva template provided.

Step 5 – Write Your Report:

Write a 400-word report on your chosen figure, explaining why they are inspirational to you and their impact on the world.

Step 6 – Submission:

Use the link below to upload your portrait to receive your certificate. All approved pieces will be displayed in our online gallery. Exceptionally inspiring entries will also feature in the Upschool’s Gallery photobook, set to release in July 2024.
