SDGs This Project Could Involve Working On:

Brief Description of Project:

Are you ready to make a lasting impact on the world? We invite you to participate in our design challenge and create a poster that has the power to change lives. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to download the provided template and use your creative spirit and design skills to craft a visually captivating and thought-provoking poster that can inspire positive change.

Follow these Steps to complete this activity:

Step 1: Download the template and familiarize yourself with its elements.

Step 2: Reflect on the issues you care about deeply and want to address through your poster (e.g. hope, love, nature, equality etc).

Step 3: Begin brainstorming ideas that convey your message.

Step 4: Start designing your poster, using a photo you have taken yourself. Do not use a photo that has been taken by someone else.

Step 5: Add a caption to your photo using a maximum of eight words.

Step 6: Using the template and the details you have gathered in the previous steps, design your poster.

Step 7: Once your poster is complete, submit it using the form below.

Selected designs will be showcased in our upcoming online gallery, with a portion of these potentially distributed worldwide to amplify your voice for change in our yearly publication!

Join us in this endeavor to make a difference, one design at a time. Together, we can create a better world.

Example Poster: Real Heroes Wear Gorillas

Poster Design: Gavin McCormack
SDG: Life on Land
Reason for Design: Although Gavin did not take the photograph in this poster (you must only produce a photo that you took yourself), the poster as an example seeks to raise awareness to the plight of gorillas who are often hunted for bushmeat. This photo depicts a person carrying a gorilla to the safety of a protected area and away from poachers that sought to harm it.

Your poster might feature you or someone else doing something to help the environment or animals. Make sure that you get the person’s permission to photograph them.

Important Rules –

– The photo you use must be your own and cannot be inappropriate in any way.
– You must use only a maximum of 8 words maximum in your caption.
– Your poster must be in a portrait format.
