Are you ready to make a lasting impact on the world? We invite you to participate in our design challenge and create a poster that has the power to change lives. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to download the provided template and use your creative spirit and design skills to craft a visually captivating and thought-provoking poster that can inspire positive change.
Follow these Steps to complete this activity:
Step 1: Download the template and familiarize yourself with its elements.
Step 2: Reflect on the issues you care about deeply and want to address through your poster (e.g. hope, love, nature, equality etc).
Step 3: Begin brainstorming ideas that convey your message.
Step 4: Start designing your poster, using a photo you have taken yourself. Do not use a photo that has been taken by someone else.
Step 5: Add a caption to your photo using a maximum of eight words.
Step 6: Using the template and the details you have gathered in the previous steps, design your poster.
Step 7: Once your poster is complete, submit it using the form below.
Selected designs will be showcased in our upcoming online gallery, with a portion of these potentially distributed worldwide to amplify your voice for change in our yearly publication!

Important Rules –
– The photo you use must be your own and cannot be inappropriate in any way.
– You must use only a maximum of 8 words maximum in your caption.
– Your poster must be in a portrait format.
Any/all submissions to Upschool or any associated organisations that have been provided by you may be published in (and not limited to) Upschool’s website or any publication, public display or presentation outlined or indicated in this Challenge, as well as in any of Upschool or associated organisations’ social media accounts, websites, partner websites, print publications, product packaging and more, at our sole discretion. If we use any of your designs, photographs, illustrations, words or similar on any website, publication, product or similar, you understand and agree that you cannot make any royalty claims for its use and cannot prevent us from displaying these.Â
For the avoidance of doubt, you hereby agree and accept that any submission made by you to Upschool or any associated entities as part of this or any Challenge listed on Upschool.co can be used by Upschool or any associated entities for any purpose, and that this will not entitle you to compensation, payment or any type of royalty for the use of your work, or any part of your work, at any time. By making a submission to this Challenge, you declare that the work is your own and not copied from another source.Â
We may publish your full name if you tell us you are over the age of 18 years. If you tell us that you are under 18 years, only your first name will be published with any works unless your parent/guardian/caregiver gives us prior written consent. We may publish your country, state, city or school name if you share that with us.Â
If you are under 18 years of age, please seek parent, caretaker or guardian consent and have them complete the submission form on your behalf, as these Terms and conditions can only be approved by adults (over 18 years). Students must have the permission of a parent, teacher or guardian to submit a response.
Children, you are not permitted to submit a response without the permission of a parent, teacher or guardian. Please speak to one of these people prior to submitting your response.Â
