What is in this Course?

This short course, featuring renowned photographer Renato Granieri, aims to enhance creativity in students. They will learn from Granieri’s top photography tips and works, emphasising how images can effectively communicate complex narratives. The course is dedicated to inspiring students to capture and share key messages through innovative visual storytelling, adhering to the adage, ‘a picture tells a thousand words.’

Important – Each child will need access to a camera of some sort to capture the images and upload them directly to Canva. Mobile phones and iPads can work perfectly for the purpose of this task.

Teaching program

The teaching program is designed to walk teachers through the process of teaching how to become a quality photographer. The document is aligned with the curriculum but can be downloaded and edited to suit the needs of your school or state. The course documents include real-world learning opportunities in which students use the knowledge they have just gained, to improve the lives and the knowledge of those around them.

Real World Learning

During this course, your students will take series of professional-quality photographs on subjects that matter to them, and compose these into a photography book that showcases their work. Students may elect to use their photography skills to not only capture but to promote people, animals and plants from the perspective of making a positive difference with their work in this course, and in the future.
